California: Initiative would let homeschoolers send children to private school on vouchers
The proposed ballot initiative tentatively being titled “Foster Child Opportunity Scholarship Act” would, if passed, give responsible legal guardians of foster children the ability to send their foster child to a private school using school vouchers should they choose to do so ”” potentially a promising way to introduce more competition and reform in California’s under performing public education system. More broadly, it would give school choice a beta test in California.
